In a nutshell, the author believes the following skills essential: Social/informal learning, Games, Learning Management System (LMS), SCORM, Graphics editing, e-Learning web-based training (WBT) development tool, Flash, and HTML/HTML5:
I've obviously got some learning to do . . .
BTW, that's our Brittany, Kassie, on the dock in Center Harbor, Maine - she's there as we speak and I'm stuck in the heat of Jacksonville - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Great article and rationale for what tools may be valuable to ISD professionals. I have to agree with the author about your employer already having a LMS and adapting to what is already in place, particularly in today's budget conscious atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Isn't it hotter in the NE this week than it is in FL? :)
ReplyDeleteNot in Maine; you get down around NY and further south and it's brutal!
ReplyDeleteMy sister in Boston said it was horrible there all week. And Tallahassee was pretty nice until today.
ReplyDeleteBrooklin, ME is 63-79, much better than the mid-90's with humidity we're experiencing here.
